I use and develop point-of-care diagnostic technologies and methods to explore how these technologies impact health outcomes from a One Health perspective. These devices and systems are focused on delivering robust and safe molecular diagnostic results for non-expert users. Devices from previous studies have been commercialized through a University of Otago spin out biotech company (Ubiquitome Ltd) and MicroGEM Ltd.
